Fuel Up To Play 60 – Make Wellness a Part of Your School

Fuel Up to Play

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the National Dairy Council (NDC) have huddled with the National Football League (NFL) to support Fuel Up to Play 60, a program that empowers youth to take action to improve nutrition and physical activity at their school and for their own health.  Fuel Up to Play 60 is also joining forces with First Lady Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move campaign to improve the health of our next generation.  Fuel Up to Play 60 is unique in that all aspects of the program have been developed, tested, and approved, by youth and for youth, throughout the country.  Utilize resources, tips, and ideas from Fuel Up To Play 60 to enhance nutrition education within your school, and remind staff and students about the importance of making healthy lifestyle choices!

Don’t miss out!  Request your school’s free Wellness Activation Kit, become a Fuel Up To Play 60 wellness advocate, and sign up for monthly eNewsletters at FuelUpToPlay60.com now!  Click on “Enroll Your School” and enter your email address to get started.  Wellness Activation Kit includes display materials and wellness-based activities that inspire kids to “get moving and play” for 60 minutes every day and to “fuel up” with the food groups kids don’t get enough of – low fat and fat free dairy foods, fruits, vegetables, and whole grains.  Competitive funds and special offers exclusively for Michigan schools will be available throughout the year, so keep checking back!
